GET YOUR LICENSE
Becoming a real estate Sales Associate requires completing a state approved 63-hour Sales Associate Pre-license course.
Real estate sales associates who achieve 2 years of experience qualify to become a Florida real estate broker. You must complete a state approved 72-hour real estate broker pre-license course.
RENEW YOUR LICENSE
These courses are post-licensing courses and continuing education courses. Their completion is required by the state in order for you to renew the state license.
This 28-hour, online real estate course—based on key content from Florida Real Estate Principles, Practices & Law—is intended for real estate sales associates and brokers who currently hold involuntary inactive Florida real estate licenses.
Post-Licensing Education for Florida Real Estate Sales Associates course fulfills the 45-hour Florida sales associate state requirement, that must be completed prior to the first renewal deadline. There is no grace period, and failing to take a post-license course before the deadline will result in your license being null and void.
Florida requires that new real estate brokers complete 60 hours of approved broker post-licensing education. This package meets that requirement with two 30-hour online courses: Florida Essentials of Real Estate Investment and Real Estate Brokerage: A Management Guide.

These courses are post-licensing courses and continuing education courses. Their completion is required by the state in order for you to renew the state license.
In the State of Florida, real estate sales associates and brokers must complete 3 hours of Business Ethics as part of the 14-hour continuing education requirement that must be fulfilled every two years.
